June 16, 2012 - The number of martyrs in Syria has risen to 77 thus far today, among them women and children. Most of the martyrs were in the Damascus Suburbs. 43 martyrs were reported in the Damascus Suburbs (Douma, Irbeen, Al-Tal, Zabadany, Haran Al-Awamid, Kafrbatna,Harasta and Saqba), 13 in Homs, 10 in Idlib 2 in Daraa, 3 in Lattakia,2 in Aleppo, 2 in Hama and 1 martyr in DeirEzzor....Damascus Suburbs: Saqba: Massacre after massacre are taking place throughout Syria in the wake of the UN monitors' silence, as well as that of the Arab world and the West. Today the regime committed a new massacre of civlians in Saqba, and even as we write this report, 13 martyrs have been verified, 9 of whom were slaughtered with knives. The victims are: Ali Al-Basha; Anas Al-Shammaa; Abou Wasef Al-Domani; Iyad Said, a young man from the Shaghouri family; a man and his son from the Al-Ashqar family; a man from the Al-Hamami family; and a 6-year-old child. In addition, 5 people were martyred during the regime's shelling....

Massacre that occurred in Farhaneyyeh village in Talbiseh today. Regime's militias targeted civilians standing in line in front of the bakery by directly firing a mortar bomb at them. Those where the bomb fell near them got exploded into flesh. This is the bakery and see that corpses on ground. Some corpses are totally mutilated with nothing but flesh and blood, others have their heads/hands/legs missing.

Damascus: Nahr Aisha: Two were martyred and many injured by rendom gunfire at civilians by regime army. Raids and arbitrary arrests went on near Ali Bin Abi Taleb mosque.
Daraa: Busar Al-Harir: Fierce mortar shelling from the Brigade 12 located in Izraa was reported in the city.
Damascus Suburbs: Maliha: Fierce shelling was reported in the city. Also, explosions shook the area amid intense gunfire from the regime army's checkpoints. In addition to fierce clashes between the FSA and the regime's army.
Aleppo: Massive fleeing in Abyen village as a result of violent shelling.
Aleppo: Regime army opened fire to disperse a demonstration in Kallasa neighborhood chanted to overthrow the regime.
Aleppo: Report of the fall of dozens of wounded during the fierce shelling in Atareb, Ibyen and Kafar Karmeen. Missiles launchers and heavy artillery were used in the shelling to coincide with the cut off the electricity from the city.

Hama: Sahl Al-Ghab: Several wounded fell from fierce bombing in Ankawy village, troubles in aiding them due to the lack of medical supplies and the suffocating siege.
Damascus Suburbs: Zamalka: Regime's army and shabiha are storming the city amid intense gunfire, launched a random raid and arrest campaign, cursing residents, stealing and looting shops.
Idlib: Maaret Al-Nouman: Young Saad Aiman Al-Maamar, 16, was martyred by regime's sniper from the municipal checkpoint.
Aleppo: Hayan: Artillery bombing from regime's army tanks and heavy machine guns renewed on the town.
Aleppo: Andan: Fierce Bombing in the city with cut off electricity, and lack of food and medical supplies after regime's army targetted all necessities of life.
Damascus Suburbs: Qudsaya: More than 20 people were wounded from the fall of two mortars in Nazlet Al-Jisr area; one was at a residential building and the other one on the street.
Deir Ezzor: Random, heavy gunfire was reported at the regime army's checkpoints located at the police headquarters.
Deir Ezzor: Six powerful explosions shook the city from the direction of the Ghassan Abboud roundabout east of the city.

Hama: Madiq Citadel: A home was completely burned down when a regime army tank shell was launched.
Hama: Madiq Citadel: Heavy gunfire from automatic weapons was reported to target homes from the citadel checkpoint, as well as the regime-controlled Karakat and Shar'ieh checkpoints.
Eastern Ghouta: Kafarbatna: Mahmoud Halaweh and Ghassan Abou Al-Nasr were martyred by the regime's security forces' gunfire.
Homs: Farhanieh: Obeida Mohammad Al-Murr, Suleiman Moussa Al-Nemer, Qotaiba Al-Dahik, Khaled Al-Hilawi, and an unidentified person were all martyred. In addition, more than 20 are reported wounded in a new regime army massacre. The regime's forces used artillery shelling near one of the bakeries in the village, and most of the martyrs come to the village to flee the shelling in Talbiseh.
Hama: The regime's army forces are conducting a raid and arrest campaign in Qosour and the villages of Naser and Bab Qibli.
Homs: Rastan: 6 missiles were fired in a single minute and smoke covers the city skies. There are indications that chemical warheads are being used.
Daraa: Six shells landed in the Manshieh district in Daraa-Balad, and regime forces are launching heavy gunfire at homes and civilians.
Hama: Zor Al-Haisa: Regime forces stormed the villages of Zor Al-Haisa and Zor Balhussein, conducting a raid and arrest campaign in addition to sweeping through the farmland.
Damascus Suburbs: Mesraba: Sounds of explosions and heavy gunfire were reported, and a number of wounded fell due to the fierce shelling in the town.
Daraa: Othman: A large number of regime security personnel backed by three BMPs conducted a house-to-house raid and stole personal property.
Swaida: A number of wounded fell due to clashes between protesters and shabiha at Najmeh Square, after a massive demonstration started in the area with women's participation, protesters demanded the regime's ouster.
Deir Ezzor: Bokamal: A wounded fell from random gunfire by regime's army in Masseria roundabout.
Daraa: Karak Sharqi: Fierce shelling using warplanes is reported in the area, especially in the eastern neighborhood, and civilians fear the situation.
Homs: Fierce shelling is reported in Old Homs, Khaldieh, Jouret Al-Sheyah and Qusour neighborhoods. Many wounded were reported, and there is a severe shortage of medical supplies.
Damascus Suburbs: Kafar Batna: Martyrs and wounded were reported due to the fall of a mortar shell on Qahwa neighborhood after the fierce shelling has renewed in the city.
Damascus:Bab Msala: The entire Bab Msala roundabout was blocked near the security branch.
Deir Ezzor:Buqros: A demonstration took place in the city; protesters chanted for the stricken cities and for the regime's ouster.
Daraa:Security forces raided Matar neighborhood and stormed into the houses in Daraa Al-Mahatta amid heavy gunfire and random wave of arrest.

Damascus: Kafar Souseh: The regime is conducting a random raid campaign amid heavy gunfire.
Damascus: Qabr Atika: A demonstration set out after dawn prayers from the Abdulrahman Bin Aouf Mosque; protesters chanted for the regime's ouster.
Damascus: Fierce clashes were reported on the southern bypass, and could be heard as far as Mazzeh and Kafar Souseh.
Hama: Kafar Zeita: Regime forces launched fire from automatic weapons at homes from the eastern checkpoint in the city.
Deir Ezzor: Two soldiers of the regime's army defected at the Hajaneh checkpoint, took their weapons, and joined the Free Syrian Army.
Damascus Suburbs: Irbeen: Ms. Rana Al-Faran, wife of martyr Anwar Koujak, was martyred as a result of the heavy shelling in the city. She was 7 months pregnant.
Damascus Suburbs: Douma: The heavy shelling has continued in the city for the past 3 days in a row.
Damascus: Heavy gunfire was reported at the heart of the capital city, in Shaalan and Salhieh.
Damascus Suburbs: Al-Tal: Mohammad Bader Masmas was martyred when the regime army opened fire at a demonstration in eastern Hazneh.

Hama: Fierce shelling using tank shells and shilkas is reported in Madeeq Citadel and Mount Shahshabo.
Damascus Suburbs: Erbeen: Alhaj Anwar Kojak and hid daughter Dana Kojak, 3 years old, were martyred and the other members of the family were severely injured with a mortar shell that has fallen on his home during the fierce shelling in the city.
Damascus Suburbs: Kafarbatna: Reports of the fall of shells on the lands on the road of Eastern Masbah, resulted in the starting of a fire, Al-Zour area farms and a residential building opposite to the Water Unit.
Hama: Karnaz: The fall of wounded due to the continuity of shelling in the city along with the fall of 10 shells thus far. The Media Office was targeted by 3 shells.
Damascus: Shaalan: Reports of the setup of a checkpoint at the beginning of Shaalan junction and the road leading to the university bridge amid a campaign of inspection of cars and requesting the ID cards.
Latakia: The young man, Basel Abdul Qader Hamdo was martyred and a number of wounded by the random gunfire of regime's army were reported in Raml neighborhood.
Damascus Suburbs: Moadamiya: Mrs. Ameera Al-Haw was martyred and a number of wounded were reported by the random gunfire of the regime's army deployed in the city.
Damascus Suburbs: Housh Arab: Fierce and random shelling by the regime's army was reported in the village which led to the destruction of homes. A state of fear was reported among children and women due to the shelling.
Damascus Suburbs:Cost of Freedom 1280 Martyrs & 6386 Detainees
Since the beginning of the Revolution last March, Damascus Suburbs insisted on standing up to oppression and tyranny. All areas and towns of Damascus Suburbs participated in the peaceful movement and daily demonstrations. As a result, they paid a high price, where a large number of residents from areas in Damascus Suburbs were arrested, where at least 6386 detainees are in the regime's prison's right now. Today, most towns in Damascus Suburbs are subject to shelling, massacres, and violations of human rights, all of which the human rights activists are incapable of documenting or describing. The LCC in Syria has documented until the time of this report 1280 martyrs, among them 123 children, 102 males and 21 females, 37 women, and 58 martyrs who will publicly executed. At least 50 martyrs were killed under torture in the basements of security branches and the regime's prisons.
